1. Introduction

Welcome to the alt.fan.harry-potter FAQ.

This FAQ tries to answer the most frequently asked questions in alt.fan.harry-potter. Unfortunately, in many cases the data is insufficient to give definitive answers. This FAQ will also summarize the most frequently discussed topics in alt.fan.harry-potter.

 

1.1 Abreviations used in this FAQ:

Conf. - Answer was confirmed in one of JKRs interviews or chats.

Spec. - Speculative answer to a question.

Para. - Paraphrase of an exact quote.

 

1.2 Who maintains this FAQ?

Klaus Winkler drafted the original FAQ in April of 2001. Various people from the group have contributed questions and answers.

No, and Not currently. There are other FAQs out there though. Try going to a search engine and typing "Harry Potter FAQ" to see others.
